The Forest Spring Color

While visiting Clifty Falls State Park in Southern Indiana this week, I was able to capture this image.  This photo truly captures the very subtle colors of spring in the southern portion of our state. Brown County Sunrise

This image was captured this past week about an hour after sunrise.  This lookout can be found while driving through Brown County State Park. A fantastic destination to get your photography game on!  The Dogwood and Redbud trees should begin to bloom here in the next week or so.  This image was captured and using my Nikon D700, with my 24-70 f2.8 attached.  Head over to my website to view more of my Brown County images.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Looking Glass Falls

Looking Glass Falls

While driving down to Brevard North Carolina today we stopped to capture an image of Looking Glass Falls.  This area of North Carolina is loaded with some wonderful waterfalls. The light was very good, given the time of day we arrived. Hopefully I get some other images that will be worth sharing.  Once again, this was taken with my Nikon D700, with my Tamaron 24-70mm F2.8 lens attached.

Autumn Path

Hello everyone!  This is one of my first images captured with my new Sony RX100 M2.  It was a foggy rainy Saturday morning. Something about looking down this road really caught my eye.  This was captured at ISO 800, at F6.3 1/80 sec. exposure.

For those interested, this is a great carry around camera. You can see more of my images at Country Roads Photo.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Thanksgiving!

Blue Ridge Sunset

Blue Ridge Sunset

Hello everyone!  Another image from trip to western North Carolina this fall.  I captured this just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Using my Nikon D700, Tamron 24-70 f2.8, a circular polarizer and two -2 f stop graduated ND filters.

This is one of my favorite sunset images, with the orange colors from the sun, and the colors of the foliage.  Hopefully everyone enjoys this one as much as I do.  Once again, this image has GPS coordinates attached, so just click on the globe at the bottom right side of my website. Just click the image to get there.

All of these images are for sale, just click the “Add to Cart ” button.
