Taken this morning following about 7″ of snow yesterday.
Hello Everyone! This was one of my last images captured with my Canon G11 pocket camera. It has since been replaced by a Sony RX100 M2. This particular image was captured on my way to the office. It was truly a wonderful Indiana autumn sunrise.
You can see more of my images at Country Roads Photo. Everyone have a very safe and very happy holiday season!!
Hello everyone! This is one of my first images captured with my new Sony RX100 M2. It was a foggy rainy Saturday morning. Something about looking down this road really caught my eye. This was captured at ISO 800, at F6.3 1/80 sec. exposure.
For those interested, this is a great carry around camera. You can see more of my images at Country Roads Photo.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Thanksgiving!
Hello everyone! Another image from trip to western North Carolina this fall. I captured this just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Using my Nikon D700, Tamron 24-70 f2.8, a circular polarizer and two -2 f stop graduated ND filters.
This is one of my favorite sunset images, with the orange colors from the sun, and the colors of the foliage. Hopefully everyone enjoys this one as much as I do. Once again, this image has GPS coordinates attached, so just click on the globe at the bottom right side of my website. Just click the image to get there.

Hello everyone. I found this place to be rather interesting. An old groceries and feed store located in Luck North Carolina. Unfortunately the time of day we arrived was not very helpful in obtaining an outstanding image. Also as you can see the highway comes right to the front door of the building. None the less, I like this type of subject matter.
This was shot with my Nikon D200, Tamron 24-70 f2.8 and a circular polarizer. I did some minor contrast and saturation adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop.

I captured this wonderful sunset 2 weeks ago while traveling in western North Carolina. While all of the National Parks were closed, we still managed to get some good shots, and even enter a couple places that were blocked off.

Thanks for visiting! There will be more to come.
This image was captured while on my trip through the mountains of western North Carolina. This was taken with my Tamron 24-70 f2.8 vc lens, and a -3 stop graduated neutral densitiy filter.
The sun had just begun to set behind the mountains. This was roughly a 1 sec exposure. Click on the image to see a larger view, and to see the rest of my images from the trip on my website.
