Old White Barn

Back again with another barn I captured yesterday. This barn was captured using my Tokina AF 11-16 F2.8 ATX Pro lens. The barn was very close to the road, but offered a very wintry scene with the old tree and the gray clouds surrounding this wonderful structure.

Old Weatherd Barn

Finally freeing up some time to go do some barning! This barn was captured early this morning with my Sigma 70-200mm f2. 8 lens attached to my D200 body.  A wonderful old barn with a really cool roof underneath a newer roof. There is also a couple old tractors in the scene also. This barn is located in Shelby County, Indiana.  Click the image above for a larger view.

1955 International Harvester Farm Truck

Made a quick u-turn this morning on my trip back home from northern Ohio to capture this rusty old gem. Luckily I had my trusty Canon G11 in the front seat with me.

Sunrise Through the Trees

This past week was spent in Eastern Kentucky. We visited the Red River Gorge area for several days of photography, and hiking. The weather as well as the color were fantastic.

While driving the back roads to our destination, we came across an old general store. This old lantern was hanging on the front porch.

Old Red Barn and White Silo

Captured early this morning in route to the Covered Bridge Festival in western Indiana. We drive by this barn several times a week. This morning there was no traffic. It was a wonderful weekend here in Indiana.

The Commons

This is a look inside the new Commons which is located downtown Columbus, Indiana. A wonderful building which has a great playground for kids. The contraption in the center is a sculpture called “Chaos “.  This image was taken with my cell phone camera. In the background is the Bartholomew County Courthouse.
